When you need a place to talk, you make the space. Come hang out! I'm sharing my story, we're listening to others' chisme,

I started Real Funny Real Cute to tell my story — to help me heal the parts of myself that were hurting— and to call out the issues that so many in the Hispanic community face but rarely get to speak about.
The foundation for this podcast was laid ten years ago, when I made the decision to disclose Child Sexual Abuse to my school guidance counselors and the School Resource Officer — the SRO. Instead of helping, he dismissed me. Said he knew who I was. Said I was lying to get out of trouble.
The problem?
I hadn’t even gone to that school in two years. And I’d never once been in trouble.
So there I was, having to walk into the law enforcement center and stomach the nerves one more time — just to tell the same story again, because one officer decided I wasn’t worth believing.
Ten years later, I find myself back in that same building.
My ex — the same one who lied about having cancer — is harassing me, texting my family that I’m “gonna end up behind bars at his job.” I bring in evidence. Proof. And still, I’m told I don’t have enough to file a police report.
A month later, he files one against me.
My ex — a white detention officer — has now filed two police reports. And the detention center where he works hasn’t just looked the other way. They’ve tried to help him.
That’s why I created Real Funny Real Cute.
To kill several birds with one stone.
To tell my story — uninterrupted.
To call out the hypocrisy of those who preach about “upholding the law” and doing things “the right way.”
Because let’s be honest — it doesn’t matter if you’re an American citizen.
When I came forward to disclose to that SRO, I was a citizen. A kid. Coming forward with allegations against someone who was here illegally. And still — I was called a liar.
So this podcast?
It’s my story. My proof. My voice.
Come listen to the full story — Real Funny Real Cute.
